The schedule for week 7 is ready: check out what to do to prepare for class, and the assignment covering materials from week 6.
In response to the request formulated in class, I have included on the assignment page a link to week 7, so you have a reminder that you need to prepare things for class. I hope you find this useful.
I like to treat my students as responsible adults; this means that I place some of the burden of getting things done on you. The component “Thoughtful Participation in the Learning Commons” in the syllabus includes a description of what I expect you to do before class to prepare for each session. I erroneously believed that this was enough to ensure you knew what to do. Apologies for not emphasizing that bit sufficiently.
If you find it tricky to stay on top of things (not just in this course) and would describe yourself as “calendar-challenged”, please drop by at the Academic Resource Center, where you will find a wealth of tips to help you with time-management and planning, which will remain useful long after you graduate.
